The first draft of Edda has been written
Conor tells me that the first draft of Edda is done and is with his O'Brien Editor. Edda is scheduled for publication in Ireland in the autumn of 2009. In Edda, Erik - as Cindella - and Ghost journey together through several electronic worlds of different types in an odyssey that brings them to a decisive enounter with a new form of game sentience.
which publisher will be used?
ReplyDeleteHi pc, good question,
ReplyDeleteO'Brien Press (Ireland) and Penguin USA/Firebird will be publishing Edda in 2010. The publishers of Epic and Saga in other countries and other languages are likely to follow thereafter.
awesome... I checked the first two out of my libray they were great!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for Edda to be out!
ReplyDeleteYep, I'm on the second book. The style of the two books are different though, like there was two authors. Anyways, Edda? I mean Epic and Saga are great names for the books, but Edda? WTF is that?
ReplyDeleteYes! My best friend told me about his books. I like Epic better (the drug use in Saga was a bit over-the-top), but I am looking forward to Edda. I bet my friend will be interested!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for the book! I liked Epic better then Saga. The atmosphere appealed to me and I really liked Erik. And in the second book, it didn't feel the same as the first, not bad, just not what I was expecting. As for the name, I just finished rereading Epic (by just finished, I mean I literaly just finished a minute ago) and near the end, I came up with a great name for the third book. I think a good name would be Requiem. The word means "a Mass for a dead person or persons, or a solemn chant for the repose of the dead". A requiem is a song, a lament for the dead. This is a song celebrating the life of a living creature, and mourning its passing. This, would be the perfect name for the book. And the great part is, I wasn't looking for a perfect title, flipping through the dictonary, the word came to my mind and the desciption was a perfect match. Ahem, if you will excuse me, I've just used up all my intelligent thinking for the rest of the day.
